London’s Silvery release their debut album ‘Thunderer & Excelsior‘ – a 14-track blast of infectious eccentric British pop and an essential release for 2008. Crafted in their East London studio with Kevin Feazey and mastered by John Davis, the album features previous sold-out single ‘Horrors‘/’Orders‘ and their second single ‘Devil In The Detail‘ which will be released the same day and is strictly limited to 500 numbered 7″s. The single also features an exclusive B-side ‘The Squadron Leader’ not on the album.
‘Devil In The Detail‘ has been spun so far by Steve Lamacq (6 Music and Radio1), who has invited the band to record a session for his BBC Radio 1 show, to be broadcast a week before the album & single release, Marc Riley (6 Music) who has requested a session, Gary Crowley (BBC London), as well as Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie (Radio 2). Both sides have already been aired in the US too by KROQ legend Rodney Bingenheimer.
